An event in honor of the grape harvest and the two major types of Bardolino Classico wine and Bardolino Chiaretto, both by noble birth and the denomination of controlled and guaranteed origin for Bardolino Superiore. <\/p>\n
Five days of entertainment, music, art and good food is distributed in the tasting kiosks, lined up along the lake, and in taverns, restaurants, farms and wine bars. Musical events and fireworks displayed over the water.<\/p>\n
The Bardolino wine is made primarily of Corvina Veronese grapes<\/strong>, with smaller amounts of Rondinella <\/strong>and also some minor grapes. <\/p>\n Its color<\/strong> is bright ruby red. Bardolino is subtly fruity<\/strong> with hints of cherry, strawberry, raspberry, redcurrant and spices (cinnamon, clove and black pepper). <\/p>\n It\u2019s an easy-drinking wine<\/strong>, which perfectly matches a variety of dishes.\n<\/p>\n Chiaretto is the ros\u00e9 version of Bardolino<\/strong>. It\u2019s made of the same grapes and the color varies from rosy pink to coral red<\/strong>. <\/p>\n The Chiaretto surprises with scents of flowers<\/strong>, wood berries as raspberries and strawberries, cherry and green apple as well as sweet spices and chlorophyll. <\/p>\n It\u2019s perfect as an aperitif <\/strong>and it pairs well with appetizers, rice and pasta dishes, as well as freshwater and saltwater fish or even sushi and pizza.<\/p>\n
